Samsung has created the ML-2250 for the home office or small office that requires a no frills, high quality quick printing laser printer. Samsung provides a 2250 sheet paper tray with the ML-2250. This is important since the ML-2250 can complete print jobs at the rate of 17 ppm with Samsung ML 2250 toner. This no frills printer won’t consume much desktop space either. The small size of the printer permits placing it almost anywhere.

Connections to the ML-2250 are quick and easy through use of either parallel or USB ports. Options for the ML-2250 include both Wi-FI and network cards should they be desired. The ML-2250, combines low initial purchase price along with a low per page cost for printing.

Paper stock should never be a concern with the ML-2250. To go along with the standard 2250 sheet tray, an optional stock tray is available. This tray also holds 2250 stock sheets. Should envelopes or other media need to be printed, the manual feed tray can hold them or an additional 50 sheet supply. Any sized print job can be completed with the ML-2250 in minimum time. Printing time for an average sheet is 17 pages per minute. Detailed printing can be selected with print quality variable from 600X600dpi to 1200X1200dpi.

Small office and home office owners are constantly seeking to reduce costs. One of the methods of reducing cost is to not purchase unneeded items. These unneeded items can include options on a printer that the owner has no significant use for. The ML-2250 has been designed with a minimum of options and simply puts out quality printing in a minimum time at a low cost. This can appear to be very attractive to the small office / home office owner.

One unique quality of the ML-2250 is the combined toner / drum cartridge. In combining the toner and the drum, Samsung has insured that print quality will remain high, and that the toner and drum are replaced at the proper intervals. While many manufacturers install a low capacity toner/ drum cartridge at the factory, Samsung installs their standard 5000 sheet drum. This provides a further savings to the home office.

Once the ML-2250 is located in the office and connected to the computer the drivers for the printer can be installed. Samsung recognizes that all offices do not operate in the Windows environment. To this end, Samsung provides drivers for both the Windows environment and the Linux environment. Basic functions are provided in these drivers including multi-page printing, watermarks and overlays. One function that is not provided is duplex printing. Should a page need to be printed on both sides, the paper must be manually reinserted.

All documents that are printed do not need to be high quality documents. The documents that are required for review or editing can often be printed at a lower print quality. To enable this Samsung included a toner saver setting on the ML-2250. When a document is printed in this mode the quality of the document is reduced however for work that is accomplished by the staff a presentation document is unnecessary and a waste of money.

Samsung has designed the ML-2250 to fit into a precise niche in the home / small office. The low initial cost and the low price per printed page, (0.015¢) when combined with rapid and high quality output make the ML-2250 the choice for many offices. While there are multiple options available on other printers, many of these are not normally utilized and can often be ignored. The single cartridge that contains both toner and drum makes changing the toner/drum simple and easy. The combined ML 2250 toner/drum reduces both the expense of maintaining spare ML 2250 printer toner cartridge and drum assemblies in the home /small office adding additional savings to the owner of the ML-2250. The ML-2250 should be considered for inclusion in any home / small office that is looking to acquire an affordable laser printer. For more information check out our site http://www.qtoner.us.
